Riads in Marrakech

The Riad is the habitat the most usual in medina. It organizes it around a court (patio) with open sky adorned with a garden more or less large. The roof is as a terrace, served by staircase with angle right very narrow. The Ryads were the houses of rich persons and their origin is Persian.
The garden of Riad, completely closed is turned to interior. Its floral disposition expresses joy and cheerfulness. It must be a place of tranquillity and beauty, propitious to meditation.
